In Proverbs 6:16-19, God lists seven things that are detestable to Him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

If you have followed the recent scandal surrounding Planned Parenthood, then those verses have a particular level of poignance.

In a series of undercover videos released this summer by the Center for Medical Progress, we watched the haughty eyes of Planned Parenthood doctors as they negotiated the sale of baby body parts with a callousness that makes you question their humanity.

We watched Planned Parenthood leadership and their supporters unconvincingly defend their barbaric practices, distorting the truth that was so clearly seen on the videos and heard on their tongues.

Planned Parenthood, America’s largest abortion provider, provides the hands that kill and profit from the innocent, and, as taxpayers, we subsidize them.

Now is the time for Christians to stand up and demand an end to Planned Parenthood’s barbarity.

On Saturday, October 10, please join pro-life supporters from the Bloomington-Normal area as we participate in #ProtestPP, a nationwide protest sponsored by a coalition of state and national pro-life groups.

This will be the second national protest, the first of which occurred on August 22, 2015. More than 300 people participated at the Bloomington protest, and more than 78,000 people participated nationwide, making it the largest series of simultaneous pro-life protests in history.

Please help us make history again and join us on Saturday, October 10, as we stand united for life.
