200th Anniversary of Illinois’ Statehood Celebration

Celebrate the 200th anniversary of the statehood of Illinois with us in Springfield, Illinois Sunday night, December 2, 7:00 pm through Monday, December 3, 9:00 am – 10:00 pm. Guest speakers, worshippers, and intercessors are preparing to come and mark this historic event! This event is hosted by Patti Amsden Ministries.

The 54th District State Senator Kyle McCarter will be joining us for the celebration. He was reelected to the Senate in the November 2014 General Election. He will represent the 54th Senate District until 2018, when he will honor his commitment to a self-imposed term limit. Senator McCarter’s legislative career has been marked by his willingness to step up, sometimes as a lone voice, to propose solutions to long-term problems such as government spending and debt, and a degraded state business and jobs climate.  He has championed education and government fiscal and regulation reform, and has been a staunch defender of the Second Amendment, energy consumers and religious freedom.
