A&M Partnership Annual Banquet with Michele Bachmann

The Abstinence & Marriage Education Partnership exists to ensure that every teenager in the country has the opportunity to hear a clearly reasoned, positive presentation on the benefits of abstinence until marriage and instruction on preparing for a healthy future marriage.

Each year we hold one special event to provide an update on our progress and to provide an opportunity for new friends to partner with us in this critical work. This year, we are pleased to welcome a strong advocate for abstinence education, former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.

This year, if you are in the Chicago area we’d love to have you join us.  Even more so, we’d appreciate your help in making this banquet a great success.  I would like to ask you help us out in two specific ways:

  1.    Would you please host a table?
  2.   Would you please recruit on other person or couple to host a table?

A table host simply invites family and friends to fill a table of 10. There is no cost to attend or to host, though an opportunity to financially partner with the ministry will be given.  Table hosts are the key to a successful banquet and we would be most grateful for your help.

Please call or e-mail the office and let us know if you are willing to support this ministry by serving as a table host (224-735-3628) info@ampartnership.org.

Stephen H. Black’s life is a microcosm of homosexuality and the “gay” cultural debate. Molested and bullied as a boy, he came to believe the lie that he was “gay.” Unsatisfied with his homosexual life as a man, he ultimately found salvation through Jesus Christ, walked away from homosexual sin, married a wonderful woman and had children (Stephen is a grandfather now, too). In recent years, Stephen was used by God to defend the truth about homosexuality as a board member of the largest Christian ex-gay umbrella group, Exodus International, which imploded after its leaders embraced apostasy.

Stephen is the author of the forthcoming book, Freedom Realized: Finding Freedom from Homosexuality & Living a Life Free from Labels, which testifies to the truth, ignored by the media, that many men and women have found freedom from homosexuality through Christ. Stephen’s powerful testimony and bold defense of biblical truth is a rebuke to the timidity and shallow, defensive thinking on homosexual sin that pervades the evangelical church today.

Stephen will be the keynote speaker at our dinner banquet Friday, October 20th, and then will lead three seminar discussions on Saturday, October 21st, answering questions like these:

  • People I love are “gay.” What is the best way to reach out with the heart of Christ to homosexual or “transgender” strugglers?
  • Why should I believe what the Bible teaches about homosexuality and marriage, and how do I defend it in a secular culture?
  • If “born gay” is a myth, what are the major contributing factors to a person embracing a homosexual identity?
  • Is there really solid evidence that MANY once-“gay” men and women have changed and found lasting freedom apart from homosexuality?
  • Why is it wrong to affirm “LGBTQ youth” in “gay” identities and gender confusion?
  • What is the danger of “gay”- and “trans”-affirming “Christianity” and how should believers answer its false claims?
  • Why should the Church stay engaged in the cultural battle for Truth surrounding LGBTQ issues?
  • How are LGBTQ activists destroying religious liberty in America?

The Pro-Life Prayer Summit & Unity Banquet

Petitioning Heaven through Pray for Changes in the Earth

We believe that the greatest transformational power in the universe available to us to be used in our effort to end abortion will be found when people of faith come together to seek God in prayer.

History has shown that the greatest evangelistic movements the earth has ever experienced have been born out of times of revival in the church, which were all precipitated by great commitments to repentance and prevailing prayer.

We invite you to join an estimated 300 people of faith from all over the nation at the Oak Lawn Hilton, October 19-21, 2017 as we come together in unity and prayer to seek a spiritual awakening in the nation, and revival in the Church of Jesus Christ that we are convinced will bring a final end to abortion.

Join Walter and Lori Hoye, Father Frank Pavone, Pastor Louis Reyes, Pastor Stephen Broden, Valarie Jenkins, Joe and Ann Scheidler, and many other pastors, leaders, and people of faith as they come together to pray and plan our spiritual way forward to see abortion ended.

Malcolm X once said: “The greatest mistake of the movement has been trying to organize a sleeping people around specific goals. You have to wake the people up first, then you’ll get action.”

Help us to cry out loud to God so loud that we wake up a sleeping church.

The pro-life movement must become the leading voice in calling America and the church to repentance over the issue of abortion, and in calling for a return of the nation’s heart unto the Lord.

We believe that in order to finally see the conditions set that will bring about the end of abortion, this nation must be visited by the Spirit of God in a national awakening, and the Church of Jesus Christ must experience revival in order to regain its prophetic voice in determining the direction of the nation.

Our Goals for this summit are:

  • To organize a National Pro-Life Prayer Network to Pray Continuously
  • To Discover & Discuss Prayer Strategies to Close Abortion Mills
  • To Break Down Walls between the Pro-Life Movement & the Church
  • To Foster Unity and Tighter Collaborations Between Pro-Life Groups
  • To Discover Messaging that Affirms Life and Speaks of Healing

Summit Location: Oak Lawn Hilton, 9333 South Cicero Avenue, Oak Lawn, IL 60453

The Hilton is allowing a special summit rate of $129 per night for single King or double Queen beds. Reservations can be made by calling 708.425.7800 or at www.hilton.com.

Brazil 4 Life Dinner with Abortion Survivor Gianna Jessen

Brazil 4 Life invites you to the annual fundraising dinner with guest speaker and abortion survivor Gianna Jessen.

Gianna Jessen was intended to die before she was born, just another one of the 1.2 million abortions each year in the United States. Instead of death, though, Gianna was bathed in a burning saline solution, but she overcame to enter the world. Two months premature and weighing just two and a half pounds, she spent her first couple of months in a hospital. Eventually, she entered the foster care system.

Doctors predicted Gianna would never even lift her head. She showed them: she began walking at three and has grown into a woman who has run marathons.

While the obstacles she’s overcome have inspiration on their own, she’s also been a living, breathing face to the horrors of abortion. She’s one of the rare survivors and frequently relays her story—speaking for those who can’t speak for themselves. The failed abortion had also provided the “gift” of cerebral palsy, as she calls it: “It allows me to really depend on Jesus for everything.”

She’s testified before Congress four times and watched as President George W. Bush signed the Born Alive Infants Protection Act, which provided safeguards for those born during failed abortions.  Across the pond, she had a similar encounter with British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Halls of government have yielded floor time to hear her story as well. Gianna has testified before the Australian Parliament and British House of Commons. Modern communications take her story where she cannot go herself. Two speeches—one at Yale and another in Australia—have made their way into China because of the connectedness the internet brings. The Yale speech was covered by a blogger whose work is read there.

“God is using Gianna to remind the world that each human being is precious to Him. It is beautiful to see the strength of the love of Jesus, which he has poured into her heart. My prayer for Gianna, and for all who listen to her, is that this message of God’s love will put an end to abortion with the power of love” Mother Teresa

The movie October baby was based on her life story.

You have a chance to hear Gianna Jessen on May 11 at 7pm in Streamwood-IL. Gianna will be speaking at the Brazil4life annual dinner at “The Seville” on Barrington Rd.   Please click here to make your reservation www.brazil4life.org or call 847 863 2003. Seats are limited

Brazil 4 Life is an international Christian organization that provides education, counseling, and support to churches willing to plant a Crisis Pregnancy Center anywhere in Brazil and the world. Our services are available where abortion is common or present and no Crisis Pregnancy Center is available. Our mission is to help individuals experience a new life and forgiveness in Christ and to save unborn lives from the steep consequences of abortion.
