How many times have conservatives heard “progressives” claim that the controversial, obscene material they want taught to children is “age-appropriate”?

Now, how many times have your heard conservatives respond by demanding to know specifically what criteria are used to determine “appropriateness”—age or any other kind? How many times have you heard conservatives demand to know specifically who socially constructed the criteria used to determine appropriateness and specifically which teacher suggested that a controversial, obscene book or play be taught and/or recommended?

Taxpayers are entitled to know the criteria, creators of criteria, and names of teachers who choose controversial, obscene material. Concealment facilitates unethical behavior among teachers and breeds distrust among taxpayers. Transparency fosters trust and accountability.

Government school teachers who are paid by the public want absolute autonomy and absolute anonymity, and that is why we now have adults introducing obscene material to other people’s children.

Yesterday the Facebook Overlords threw me in the Zuckerland Gulag for 30 days for violating their speech codes by posting this in the comments section of a friend’s Facebook page:

… some tr*nnies are able to create very convincing skin costumes (think “Buck Angel”), and it will be much easier for the next generation of tr*nnies who aren’t permitted to go through puberty to do so. But right now most men aren’t able to pass as women.

My comment was in response to a post about men who deceive others by masquerading as women.

My choice of the terms “tr*nnies” and “skin costumes” was intentional, and the reason for those choices was not to insult. My choices are motivated by a refusal to capitulate to the language rules of the “trans” cult. The left has absorbed the lessons of Saul Alinsky who wrote in Rules for Radicals that “He who controls the language controls the masses.” Many conservatives—far too many—are allowing themselves to be controlled.

There is nothing intrinsically insulting about the term “tranny.” In fact, it has a long history of use by “trans”-cultists.

PODCAST: Benet Academy Losing Christian Identity

Benet Academy, a prestigious and expensive private high school that identifies as Catholic has just capitulated to the cacophonous voices of apostates and heretics in its midst.

The drama began several days ago when the school located in the affluent Chicago suburb of Lisle, Illinois rescinded an offer to Amanda Kammes to be the head coach of the girls’ lacrosse team. They rescinded the offer after learning that Kammes, who is a 2001 graduate of Benet, is legally married to a woman, which means she flouts the beliefs of the Catholic Church.

Following a protest and petition signed by over 3,000 woke Benet “parents, students, alumni, and friends” who oppose the Catholic school’s feeble effort to uphold Catholic teaching, the spineless, principle-free board of directors offered lesbian Kammes the job and she accepted. With Catholic friends like that, Benet doesn’t need atheist enemies.

As Leftists unravel and incinerate the fabric of America, it’s helpful—unpleasant but helpful—to recall some of their now legendary acts of hypocrisy and deceit, including the widespread use of Newspeak. So, let’s start with that.

While claiming to have a corner on compassion and love, Leftists now refer to human beings by the soulless, utilitarian term “human infrastructure”—something to be used, manipulated, repaired, or destroyed and rebuilt in ways that better serve the omniscient and omnipotent among us. I guess we should count ourselves lucky that they are including the word “human’’—for now.’

PODCAST: Illinois Dem’s Bill to Punish Texas for Heartbeat Law

State Representative Kelly Cassidy (D-Chicago) is fighting mad. Why? Because Texas lawmakers had the audacity to pass a law to protect tiny humans with heartbeats from being killed. Cassidy does not believe in states’ rights. Like all other “progressives,” Cassidy is an arrogant totalitarian who believes the entire world must think like her and subsidize the dissemination of her beliefs. And when Cassidy gets mad, she gets even.

On September 14, Cassidy filed a bill in response to the Texas Heartbeat Act. Her bill (HB 4146) is titled the “TExAS Act-The Expanding Abortion Services Act.” While this bill addresses pregnancies resulting from “sexual assault” and “domestic abuse,” it goes further. If passed it would make it possible for any man in a consensual sexual relationship—including a marital relationship—that results in an “unintended” pregnancy to be sued civilly:

Any person, other than an officer or employee of the State or a unit of local government, may bring a civil action against any person who … causes a person to have an unintended pregnancy, regardless of circumstances; or … intends to engage in the act or conduct [that causes a person to have an unintended pregnancy, regardless of circumstances]. …

In other words, if passed, any woman may sue any man—including her husband—for impregnating her, even if the sex were consensual. This is retribution for Texans passing a law that the tyrannical Cassidy hates.

Many Christians misunderstand the relationship between morality and religion. Many mistakenly believe that morality is the same thing as religion and, therefore, mistakenly believe that they should not advocate for policies that reflect their moral beliefs. But morals and religion are not the same. And since morals and religion are not the same, basing our decisions about public policies, laws, or elections on beliefs that derive from religious convictions does not constitute an unconstitutional establishment of a state religion.

All laws reflect or embody someone’s morality. The moral views of people who hold theistic worldviews are no less valid in the public square than the moral views of those who hold atheistic worldviews—which, of course, are faith-based also. The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment was intended to prevent the establishment of a state religion, not to prevent religious beliefs from informing political decisions.

Government schools in the cities and suburbs alike are unfit places to educate children. In the past week, school controversies in Illinois and California made national news.

First up, there was the story of woke third grade teacher Lauren Crowe from Abraham Lincoln Elementary School in Glen Ellyn, Illinois whose social media posts in which she boasts about her “LGBTQ+” classroom indoctrination efforts have split the community.

Talking directly to little ones in one TikTok video, she announces that in honor of “pride” month, she’s going to teach about “the history of the LGBTQ+ community,” about the “amazing individuals who have made this community better and who have stood up for our rights,” and about what her students “can do as an ally to support those members as well.” She also passed out “gay-and-bisexually-themed stuffed animal ‘plushies’” to her 8-9-year-old students.

For those who have been enjoying the waning days of summer away from news and social media, basking maskless by a refreshing body of water or hiking with a face as naked as a newborn babe’s in the cool of the wood, here’s what set ablaze the perpetually burning neurons of leftists: Texas banned all abortions performed on small humans whose hearts are beating and made anyone who facilitates the illegal killing of humans with beating hearts open to civil litigation. Sounds reasonable to me, but then again, I’ve never been a fan of killing defenseless humans who have committed no crime.

Following Texas’ prohibition of human slaughter after the first six weeks of life, the left lost what’s left of their minds.

With their feticidal minds unhinged at the prospect of mothers not being free to hire hitmen who identify as “physicians” to off their offspring, leftists proved again why they’re not known for skill in the use of evidence, sound analogical thinking, respect for science, respect for human rights, coherence, consistency, or morality.

If parents in that district are lucky, she will be a former teacher shortly.

What’s remarkable is that none of Pitzen’s students needed to covertly record her classroom propaganda, because Pitzen proudly posted her efforts to use her publicly subsidized job to inculcate other people’s children with her distaste for America and fondness for “LGBTQ” dogma…

If this decision is not appealed and overturned, it will mean the end of sex-separated private spaces in all companies in Illinois, including stores and restaurants.

They would be rightly condemning Biden’s housing of children in overcrowded plastic pods, the release of COVID-positive illegals into the U.S., the record-setting number of deaths of immigrants along the Arizona border, the refusal of Biden to allow journalists to witness the housing crisis firsthand, and the failure of Kamala Harris to visit the border communities most affected by the crisis.
