A new Gallup survey shows that the majority of Americans are not confident in the public schooling system. Only thirty-six percent of Americans expressed a 'great deal' or 'quite a lot' of confidence in public schools. This is however, the largest number who are fairly confident in public schools since 2009.

IFI received a return-request letter via priority mail this week from Dunner Law, a law firm based in Washington D.C. that specializes in intellectual property law. The letter came from Adam Sikich, senior counsel with Dunner Law (and according to his bio, a “Star Wars aficionado”) on behalf of Dunner's “Client,” the American Psychological Association (APA). In this letter, Sikich kinda, sorta implied Dunner might slap IFI with a $150,000 lawsuit ...
With the younger generation of Americans growing up in a day and age when they are exposed to much more sexually explicit materials and experiences than ever before, a recent study shows that most Americans believe sex education should include abstinence – not just safe sex, as former President Barack Obama’s Teen Pregnancy Prevention program instructs.
