Charlie Kirk Memorial: Vice President JD Vance

Vice President J.D. Vance delivered a memorial speech for Charlie Kirk on September 21, 2025, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, following Kirk’s assassination during a September 10 appearance at a Utah college campus.

Vance, a close friend of Kirk and someone who credited him with launching his political career, stated that he had spoken more about Jesus Christ in the two weeks following Kirk’s death than during his entire public life, calling this a lasting legacy of Kirk’s influence, saying:

“They tried to silence our dear friend Charlie Kirk, and today, tonight, we speak with Charlie and for Charlie louder than ever. The evil murderer who took Charlie from us expected us to have a funeral today and instead, my friends, we have had a revival in celebration of Charlie Kirk and of his Lord Jesus Christ.”
