Kim Jones, co-founder of the Independent Council on Women’s Sport (ICONS) — testified about daughters forced to compete against male athletes, criticized birth-certificate verification as easily altered, and called for DNA/SRY gene testing as a standard. She described the pressure on female athletes to accept male competitors as “emotional blackmail” and “no different than the age-old threat women have always faced.”
