Pastor Richard Giovannetti’s Challenge

In this short challenge, Pastor Richard Giovannetti addresses Christian citizens, and pastors in particular, to stay alert to the politics of the pandemic and be deliberate in choosing where they are going to stand, how they are going to walk as Christians, and how they are going to address current issues. The church is the source of holding the nation accountable, he says; therefore, the church cannot ignore the role it plays in upholding religious liberty in the nation. The way for pastors and citizens to do this, then, is both to pray and to storm lawmakers with petitions to stay true to the constitution and not form a precedent for diminished liberties in the future before the nation loses its course even more than it already has. We have the right to express our views, and we ought to use that liberty to protect our freedoms.
