Stacy Washington: The Trojan Horse of CRT

In this IFI Worldview Session, Stacy Washington uses her role as a Christian mother and participant on her local school board to teach us what is being introduced in our public schools under the name of “Critical Race Theory,” or CRT. CRT, as she explains, has its foundations in Marxism, which leads us to ask: how did we as Americans, in our unique and free country, get to the point of accepting any Marxist theory? Where are the principles that our nation was based on? Beyond this, Washington shows us CRT in schools teaches children that they are either privileged or victims, a worldview which may be concerning to many parents, regardless of their professed political views. She explains how CRT is like a Trojan horse, claiming to help people get along while destroying children’s innocence. All of this, she says, is why it is important to teach children the right worldview in the home, regardless of their type of education, arming them for battle.
