State Rep. West (D-Rockford) Speaks in Favor of Expanding Abortion “Rights” in Illinois

During the Illinois House debate on our extreme abortion expansion, State Representative Maurice West (D-Rockford) spoke in favor of the bill on the House floor. Identifying himself as a “preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ,” and pontificating on the so-called separation of Church and state, he said it was “a biblical decree and a constitutional order.” He called the abortion restrictions passed in Ohio, Georgia, Kentucky and other states, policies “that put chains on women,” likening it to slavery.
