SpeakOut Illinois, the pro-life coalition of which IFI is a proud partner, has scheduled a Pro-Life Lobby Day in Springfield on Thursday, March 8.
Several important pro-life bills are on the table this year, including the Ultrasound Opportunity Act and a bill to tighten regulations on abortion facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to be heard and seen by our Illinois lawmakers!
While Illinois deals with its budget and pension crises, pro-life citizens are encouraged to attend the lobby day in Springfield on March 8, to remind state officials of their job to protect the fundamental right to life for even the smallest among us. We must speak for those who cannot speak for themselves!
Join us in Springfield to:
- Meet your state senator and state representative
- Build relationships to defend life and promote pro-life policies
- Receive training on lobbying and how the Illinois General Assembly works
- Be a visible witness at the State Capitol for life
SpeakOut is arranging buses from several sites across Chicagoland. The cost to take the bus is $15/per person, and will leave at approximately 6:00 A.M. Lobbying will take place between 10:00 A.M. and noon. Lunch will shortly after noon, followed by a short program. We will leave Springfield at approximately 2:00 P.M.
