National Life Chain Sunday
October 2, 2016 @ 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM

Save the Date!  29th National Life Chain
Sunday, October 2, 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.

On the first Sunday of October in 1,950 locations across the United States and Canada, tens of thousands of pro-life people will gather beside main streets.

They will pray silently and hold professionally-printed signs provided at the site.

They will peacefully stand in honor of the 58 million lives who have been lost to abortion.

Every year young women report deciding not to have an abortion after reading the signs and seeing the people praying.

“I remember you were here 20 years ago,” a lady told a gentleman who was holding a Life Chain sign in front of an abortion facility. “I was pregnant, not married, didn’t have a job and thought abortion was my only choice. I changed my mind when I saw the words on your sign.” Then she turned and said, “This is my daughter I would have aborted if you hadn’t been here – and this is my new grand baby. Thank you for being here.”

Students understand that a third of their generation has disappeared and convince their friends not to kill their baby.

People become aware of the need to pray for others in crisis situations and step into volunteer pro-life positions.
