Patrick Henry College is bringing their popular summer camp experience to Chicago next month for a mini-conference for teens and parents, called the “Student Impact Summit.” The Summit is directed toward Christian students from 13-18, who may be interested in meeting with other Christian teens to collectively consider how to make an impact with their lives for Christ. The event will be Friday evening (4/21) from 7-9pm and Saturday (4/22) from 9am-2:30pm at the Orchard in Arlington Heights.
Students can select one of the two tracks (US History or Worldview), both of which will be led by college faculty members. Parents are also welcome to attend but will have their own breakout groups for discussion purposes. The goal is to provide the students with a mini-camp experience where they can wrestle with important contemporary issues while allowing parents to absorb the content and process it with other parents. The Summit will provide a mixture of teaching, discussion and structured activities to help students think more deeply about how they can impact the world for Christ. Please see that attached flyer for course descriptions and additional details.
