In his interview with Dr. Carl Trueman for Illinois Family Institute, Pastor Derek Buikema asked how Christians may be inadvertently capitulating to “expressive individualism.”

Dr. Trueman, author of two critically important books in the past two years (The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self  and its more concise companion book, Strange New World: How Thinkers and Activists Redefined Identity and Sparked a Revolution) shares two specific ways that may surprise many Christians.
