The zeal, knowledge and dedication of the IFI Team exhilarates me, and at the same time it humbles me. They understand our purpose and mission, and as our Judeo-Christian foundation disintegrates, the need for truth-telling becomes increasingly important.
We long for the resources to battle toe-to-toe with cultural giants like Planned Parenthood, Equality Illinois, Big Marijuana and the ACLU. Unfortunately, we do not have the same kind of resources they do to influence hearts and minds in Illinois. We can, however, do what we can with what God has graciously provided. That is why I am hoping that you will respond to this appeal.
We have been blessed with a $100,000 matching-challenge from faith ministry partners that you can help us double as we enter 2019. Your $25 becomes $50, $100 is $200, and $250 becomes $500.
The good news is, with 12 days remaining in the year, we have raised approximately 40 percent of our goal thus far. That is wonderful progress. However, we still have a long way to go.
Regardless of the deteriorating cultural condition of our state and nation, judicial activism in the courts, bias in the media, Left-wing ideology in government schools, or frustrating election cycles, we will never give up.
Upholding the sanctity of human life, the biblical definition of marriage and family, the scientific definition of sex, robust religious liberty, and freedom of conscience is vital to our form of government. If we want America to be a beacon of hope and a blessing to the world, Christians must intentionally engage our culture to defend these precious values. It is not just important that we defend them. It is imperative!
You and I know now this is not time to give up or give in. The journey before us will require resilience, vision, courage and perseverance to rebuild the culture and restore our republic.
Can you imagine where we would be in Illinois if we weren’t leading the pro-family resistance in the Land of Lincoln? Can you imagine silence in the face of Leftist ideology and intolerance? Can you imagine a state without the work of IFI to alert, equip and encourage Christians?
Cultural revival will take decades, but we are committed to doing this work as long as the Lord tarries. By God’s grace and through your consistent prayers and financial support, we can and will continue to be salt and light in our state. We are committed to leading the way in all that God has commanded us in His Word.
